I love teaching children about the tools we use in the dental office and I talk in terms they can understand. I tell them about the water squirter, Mister Thirsty, Cameron the Camera and the Alligator, but he’s not a real alligator! The kids think I’m silly. The time I spend with the children at the beginning of the appointment allows us the get to know each other and build trust. I want them to feel confident and leave the appointment happy. I have been working as a dental assistant since 1993 and have spent the last 10 years working with children.
When out of the office I enjoy working outside in the yard, I love the feeling of getting things accomplished. I’m kind of a home body and enjoy relaxing and watching Griz football games on TV. You can also find me at a garage sale on Saturday mornings with a hot coffee in hand
