Dr. April Foster is a board certified pediatric dentist. She grew up in a small town outside of Pullman, Washington on a grain farm. Dr. Foster graduated from Garfield-Palouse High School and then headed to University of Puget Sound (UPS). At UPS she ran sprints and hurdles on the track and field team and got her bachelor of arts in psychology. April always knew that she wanted to work with children and in the medical field. During her time at UPS her dentist suggested she look into dentistry, at that time she found a summer job at a pediatric dental office. Working in the pediatric dental office solidified her desire to work with children and in a medical field. She attended the University of the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco and immediately after that completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at Boston University. Dr. Foster is a member of the Montana Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Acadamy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the college of diplomats of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Foster moved to Montana in 2008 and worked at and was an owner at Missoula Pediatric Dentistry prior to opening her own practice, 3 Rivers Pediatric Dentistry. She is dedicated to be an expert in the field of children’s dentistry and regularly attends dental courses to stay up to date on all the newest practices that are backed by evidenced based dentistry. Dr. Foster and her husband enjoy hiking, biking, camping, cooking, and time with their two sons Nels and Micah, and dog Toba.
